Last year I decided that my quality of life was more important than financial gain (a lot of which goes to the taxman anyway).
I am lucky in that my employer offers special menus so that employees can have up to five days more holidays in the year and or work less hours (to the equivalent [...]

Words of wisdom
Sometimes you don’t have to look far for an inspirational quote. I was chatting with Olga, a work colleague yesterday when she said “You live each moment for the very first time” I find that very profound and also inspirational. Thanks Olga!

I want to bring you some Swiss culture today. From my Office Window we can see the back of a hotel and over the last months there has been some funny goings on. A scaffolding was erected and artists have been painting the exterior of the building with a mountain landscape.

Back at work
Started back at work today after a week in hospital and a week’s convalescence. It’s nice to be with my colleagues again and I do have some interesting projects to finish over the summer.

Well last Monday [...]

At this moment in time most of our Project Management Documents are produced in Microsoft Word. Some are produced from templates whereas most are older documents opened and modified (does this [...]
Changes in the Office
I am in the midst of a lot of professional changes since the middle of last year.
For a long time I have no longer wanted to be a boss, feeling as I did that I wasn’t getting anywhere and that I had already been there and done that.
Although it was only 7 to 10 [...]
