Sigh of relief
Written by Graham Lawrence on May 11, 2008 – 2:54 pmWhen I logged into this blog this morning I noticed that upgrading to the latest version of Wordpress was called for. As usual I went into my hosting’s control panel, chose Fantastico and clicked on the upgrade Wordpress to 2.5.1 button.
Up until now this has always gone smoothly but the law of averages reminded me that from time to time it will go wrong, and it did!
I spent the rest of the morning trying to get this blog back online and it proved a lot more trickier than I thought it would.
As you can see I managed, but at one point I thought I might even have to start anew with post number 1 again.
I was going to change the template (again) because although a magazine style is interesting it calls for more and not less work than a simple chronological template.
So here we are back to the last but one iteration and true to form I will be tweaking it over the next few days until I am happy again.

Hello friend. It has been a while since I have got around to blog walking and I thought I would let you know that all my friends have never been far from thought. It has been difficult adjusting to working for someone else and having to log in and log out and work fixed hours but soon my body and mind will adjust to these changes. Hope you are well and glad you managed to keep your blog up and running.
