Il pleut ce matin et il fait plus frais que ces derniers jours. Je fais les remarques sur cet été et mon intolérance à la chaleur et mon étonnement que malgré une température de 20°C le chauffeur de bus avait enclenché le chauffage dans mon bus.
It’s raining this morning. It started sometime in the night but I can’t say when as I was sleeping (when I sleep, I sleep).
It’s been a strange summer. We haven’t really had a heat wave - it often stays hotter than 30°C for over a week but not this year. Statistically however, and don’t the weathermen love this, it has been an average summer temperature-wise.
A co-worker reminded my that this summer is more synchronized than preceding summers as the better weather happened on the week-end and not during the week so he is happier.
From my point of view I am relieved as I don’t cope with hot and clammy weather easily. Anything over 26-27°C and longer than a few days makes me very uncomfortable.
Don’t get me wrong, I adore the sun, it’s the heat I can’t cope with.
Any suggestions of a predominately clement climate with lots of sun and neither too hot nor too cold?
Of course it would help if air-conditioning was better implemented here in Switzerland. We seem to have an obsession with heat. You might not believe this but although it was raining and 20°C outside this morning at 6.30am, the bus driver had the heating on in the bus! Crazy.

Hey, I thought you didnt like to talk about the weather
roflmao!
I have been reading a few blogs and everyone is talking of rain. We have not had any this week and I wish it would rain again - love the sound of soft falling rain. This weekend it warmed up enough for us to get our first taste of Spring - hope it can be delayed for while longer.
Have a fab week Graham.
I had a dream you gave up blogging. Just you dare do anything so stupid and I will have to deal with you. *grin*
