It’s been a very busy week. TGIF!
Professionally the move means me splitting my time between two offices and some overtime to compensate. All my professional activities are in flux and I will have to adhere to new objectives.
I have been asked to step up as National IT Director of an Association that I am [...]

Rushed off my feet
Swiss Chocolate
From memory, Swiss chocolate Easter Eggs are differently packaged from those available in the UK although with globalisation this might well have changed a lot since I left! I did promise to show some pics and here is some photographic evidence of what we are finding in the shops now.
Strange structure in our local Shopping Mall
Judge for yourself! Unfortunately I can only link to an article in french. The “sculpture” is called Lieux mécanisés (Mechanical places) and is a somewhat large exposition in our local Shopping Mall (Balexert).
By the way, it is in constant movement and is somewhat reminiscent of the works of Tinguely although less excentric.

View from my Office Window
Title says it all really. In a recent comment Michelle was wondering what it looked like and you know me, I can’t resist a request or an idea for a post.
My office is on the 9th floor so the view is agreable (if a little Mary Poppinish if you see what I mean - [...]

Removal van on the horizon
I think I mentioned it a while back but I’ve been reorganized and from an Organizational and Quality role I am integrating a Systems Information division and while pursuing my explorations in ECM/CMS Wiki and EDM will be providing more support for our Intranet and Extranet.
In a meeting today my new boss informed me that [...]
It’s not but somehow it is
After a fresh start (5°C) to the day the temperature rose to 16 in the shade today and we couldn’t resist taking our dinner out on the terrace. I don’t think we will take the chairs out of the garden shed just yet but it was all the same a blissful moment and a reminder [...]
