My wife and I learnt today that a very good friend’s husband is not getting any better. Since we know her, her husband has been ill and that’s over ten years now. In addition to cancer and renal failure she learnt recently that he has been diagnosed as having Alzheimers disease. That’s a lot of suffering. I wish we could do something.
She told us this morning, about the same time as we discovered in most of the papers that Britney Spears has shaved her head. According to the tabloids that is a story worth being splattered on page 1.
This whole situation has been bothering me and troubling me all day. I can’t get it out of my head so I’m going to bed.

It is so unfair when people have to suffer so much and then to be diagnosed with Alzheimers! She must be a remarkable woman to endure all this.
As for Britney - what was she thinking!
Terrible situation, specially for her. I just wish that investigation of such matters would be taken more seriously instead of Speer’s “things”. My best wishes.
