Two posts about my wife in a row but this one is harder to write than the last one. Yesterday she had a sudden onset of abdominal pain that was impossible to relieve and at the end of the afternoon a colleague drove her to the local hospital while I left work to be by her side.
A few examinations (and some intravenous pain relief) later she was diagnosed with renal colic caused by kidney stones and after resting a while was allowed home later in the evening.
She has various pills to take and will be off work for a few days. Here’s hoping she makes a swift recovery.
