Having some extra time off each week has unexpected benefits. Last Sunday my wife and I went to the lake to take some photos and today the weather was so sunny and mild that we went on another walk on the riverbank near to where we live.
I’ll be posting the pics a little later but in the meantime I worked on a few of the photos I took to learn how to improve my use of my image software tool (Ulead PhotoImpact).
I took a photo of the river. Then added a filter to the top of the image.
Then I took a photo of stone fish in a local park and extracted one of them as an object.
Then I duplicated and inserted the object into the original water photo turning and changing perspective.

You are good at photo manipulation. I enjoy it. Once I wanted to scrap a photograph but part of it was boring so I manipulated the background and no one even noticed. Now I have an awesome photograph in my scrapbook album. I am a cheat I know but shhhh…. don’t tell anyone else.
